About Mergeflow

Mergeflow is a powerful data collection and analytics software, designed for analyzing R&D and business information. Through natural language processing and machine learning, Mergeflow automates many of the information gathering and organizing tasks that a research analyst would perform manually.

Teams and individuals at companies like LG, Dell, and BASF use our software to quickly discover and explore emerging technologies, R&D, venture activities, new ideas and markets.

About the job

A full stack developer at Mergeflow should make these massive amounts of data and our SaaS web frontend talk to each other. You will never have a typical day: One day you might be writing HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and another you might be deploying new backend components on AWS.

Your mission

  • Deep dive into our users’ problems to find and create effective solutions.
  • Create robust, secure and modular cloud architectures.
  • Bring your voice to the table in team discussions on UI/UX, design, and software architecture.
  • Suggest and lead the implementation of new UI components.
  • Develop and share coding practices that work best for our team.

Your profile

  • You are a self-starter and feel comfortable with product ownership.
  • You don’t care who is right. You care about the best solution for our customers.
  • You develop your own ideas, and find ways to implement them as software.
  • You know how to define and describe a use case and break down steps for how to implement it.
  • You have experience or interest in web crawling, natural language processing and machine learning, and how to use data to make technology decisions.
  • You have a degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Your technical skills

  • You have written code in C#/.NET before (more than “hello world”).
  • You have used HTML & JavaScript for building a web application before.
  • You have deployed code on AWS (or Azure), and wrote e.g. CloudFormation templates or configured AWS CodeDeploy before.

Your benefits

  • Become a key player in a rapidly growing company.
  • Develop and pursue your own solution strategies.
  • Flexible working hours and work location (remote, onsite or mixed).
  • Flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes.
  • A friendly, open and collaborative working atmosphere.
